The workshop aims to provide an opportunity to exchange about the design and implementation of Smart Villages interventions in the CAP Strategic Plans and allow CAP MAs to learn from each other and improve their own Smart Villages support frameworks.
The event will provide preliminary results of the outcomes of the CAP analysis carried out by the Smart Rural 27 project. Examples of Smart Villages interventions will be presented and discussed from more advanced Member States on planning Smart Villages support and implementation.

The Smart Rural 27 project aims to improve the Smart Villages support framework & policies across Europe. In order to facilitate the exchange among relevant stakeholders, the Smart Rural 27 project is setting up the European Smart Villages Pilot Observatory. One of the three pillars of the observatory is the so-called European Stakeholder Platforms, that brings together stakeholders concerned with the same topic and policy challenge to exchange their views and experiences for mutual learning.
