Sâncraiu

Sâncraiu, one of the capitals of rural tourism in Romania, is located in the western part of Cluj County, Transylvania, at an average altitude of 597 m, near the town of Huedin. Near the village is the European road E60 and the national road DN1R, Huedin-Albac. Sâncraiu was awarded the title of "European Village"for the community actions entered in the contest "Romanian Village, European Village", organized in 2005 by the European Commission Delegation in Romania. Sâncraiu is an agro-touristic village with a tourist agency and guesthouses classified by the Ministry of Tourism, and recently Sâncraiu has been declared"Tourist resort of local interest".Sâncraiu has a thriving cultural life, representing the cultural centre of the region. Important local, regional and even international events are organised in the town. The events organized are addressed to a wide public such as: international camp of folk dances and songs, which is more than 30 years old, the days of the commune of Sâncraiu, the strawberry festival, the grape ball, the creative camp, the Ady Endre days, etc. Sâncraiu also has an important ethnocultural heritage, a heritage that is exploited within the framework of tourist activities and various events. The ethnocultural heritage includes on the one hand traditions and customs, dances (Christmas and Easter dances, Christmas and Easter traditions, Grape Ball, etc.) and on the other hand various old objects of high ethnocultural value (folk costumes, furniture with folk elements and motifs, traditional embroidery, etc.).

Equipping the Vocational School “Ady Endre” Sâncraiu, Cluj County, with furniture, teaching materials and digital equipment

Creation of a high quality and high performance ecosystem in the Vocational School "Ady Endre" Sâncraiu by providing the educational infrastructure, consisting of digital equipment, furniture and teachingmaterial, tailored to different levels of learning and specializations. This includes digital equipment, furniture, and teaching materials across various facilities such as 2 classrooms for pre-school, 5 for primary, 4 for lower secondary, 2 for upper secondary, along with a multidisciplinary laboratory, language and communication cabinet, psycho-pedagogical counseling office, sports hall, computer laboratory, and practice workshop

Providing ICT systems for Sâncraiu Commune

-The implementation of an ICT infrastructure in the bike path to equip the area with intelligent systems to improve the safety climate (intelligent solar lamps), the implementation of a surveillance network through surveillance cameras and the implementation of a Wifi network in the bike path area;
-Two recharging stations for electric cars;
-Acquisition of a surveillance drone;
-Purchase and commissioning of smart street furniture, consisting of SMART benches and digital modules for public information;
-The realisation of an information system by customising a software for the City Hall's work machine, composed of an interface for interaction with citizens.

Setting up video surveillance system in Sâncraiu commune

The system uses a total of 37 general frame surveillance cameras and 16 LPR cameras with license plate recognition installed at various points of interest. The system will use two dedicated NVR video recorders: one for the general frame surveillance cameras and one for the license plate recognition cameras. Data transmission within the localities will be done over a fibre optic infrastructure. The video cameras used are of IP type, i.e. a broadband infrastructure has been set up for the localities of Alunișu and Horlacea in the commune of Sâncraiu.
