Within the village, the Stowarzyszenie Dolina Kacanki association operates with the aim of disseminating knowledge and skills in the field of information technology among the community. This association actively works for the benefit of the village and the creation of a friendly space for residents.. Additionally, the PasjoDzielnia Foundation plays a significant role, focusing on cultural development and the empowerment of specific groups such as women, community leaders, and individuals with diverse passions. The foundation provides a nurturing environment for gathering and exchanging experiences among members of the community.

All-night Independent Cinema Film Review in the barn

The event was attended by around 50 people. The uniqueness of the venue, the subject matter of the films and the openness led to the event being awarded the Best Cinema Grand OFF 2020 statuette (broadcast on the Internet in dozens of countries around the world). Thanks to new technologies, during the film review, the audience was connected to the festival's general director Witold Kon, who introduced the audience to the idea of the festival. The review was preceded by workshops on yoga, drumming, paper making and an introduction to independent cinema films

New life for the old school

The aim is to save the former school, give it a new function and develop the area so that in the long term it is possible to generate income for self-sustainability through the creation of a themed village and a folk university. Both the theme village and the folk university are intended to contribute to the economic development of the area through direct sales of agricultural and processed products, local products, services and workshops. The project is spread over a number of years and requires significant funding.

Virtual communication with residents

The village mayor maintains a blog which is an effective tool for getting information, conducting a quick consultation or promoting village initiatives. The website has hundreds of thousands of views and is gathering a growing number of followers (not only from this village). It was twice awarded in the "Sołectwa w sieci" (Villages on the Web) competition, as the best in the Świętokrzyskie Province and in Poland in the internet voting. The village leader communicates with the residents via an SMS database. In addition, he creates an annual activity reports in the form of a video.
